Zerion is a pharmaceutical company enabling the development of novel drug products by improving the solubility and bioavailability of small molecule drugs. Our first drug formulation will reach the market in 2 years and secure regulatory acceptance of our key excipient, the protein beta-lactoglobulin, as a novel pharmaceutical excipient. The manufacturing of our unique Dispersome® formulation requires insights into particle engineering as well as solvent mixing behavior. We aim to improve our current understanding of the manufacturing process, and therefore, are looking for an eager scientist who can take the lead on a particle engineering project for our Dispersome® formulations.
Overall, you will be part of our R&D Department and responsible for development of process understanding and particle engineering for different Dispersome® formulations and preparing those for upscale manufacture. The position will be partly based at our offices in Copenhagen/Denmark and at the facilities of our collaborator in Berlin/Germany.

We are seeking a self-motivated and independent person, with a MSc or PhD degree in pharmacy, physical chemistry, chemical engineering, or similar, having experience from working with particle engineering, fluid dynamics, and/or amorphous formulations. You are flexible working at two different locations in Denmark and Germany.
